- The DV2C3 is a portable two diver video capture and three diver communications system.
- The unit can be run on 100-240VAC 50/60Hz via an earth leakage circuit breaker and has a built in Lithium Ion Phosphate battery (25.6VDC 6.4Ah) as a backup in case of mains failure. This changes over seamlessly & notifies the operator via the mains fail alarm.
- Mains fail alarm & battery status monitor on operating panel.
- Camera output voltage is 24V DC (nominal).
- LED Light output voltage is 24V DC (nominal) and dimming voltage is 5 – 0V DC
- or 24V DC to 0V DC. (0% to 100%)
- Recording is via an Intel NUC i3 with a 1000GB (1TB) SSHD & 8 GB RAM.
- The system will record 290 hours of good quality two diver recordings.
- Operating system is Linux with Rennisons proprietary video capture software.
- The software is intuitive & very easy to operate.
- It offers continuous recording of both divers with no file size limit.
- An ‘As Built’ function is available where ‘snippets’ of the divers video can be saved independently of the main recording so there is no need to edit the main recording to obtain highlights. A ‘snap shot’ facility is also included. Date, time & overlay can be displayed on any recording.
- Viewing is via a 15” monitor.
- Diver communications is via a Rennisons 3 Diver & Tender system.
- Any commercial diver comms headset may be used with the system.
- A handheld microphone is supplied or the Diver Comms Speaker in the lid fascia can be used to talk to the divers in simplex (PTT) mode.
- Divers comms connections are via 4mm banana sockets.
- Umbilical connection to the unit is via a 14 way Milspec socket P/N MS3102R20-27S and the corresponding umbilical plug is P/N MS3108F20-27P.
- Other connectors can be fitted to suit clients umbilicals if required.
- BNC sockets are provided for diver video outputs to remote monitors and for audio in from a different audio source and similarly, audio out for remote listening via an amplifier (not supplied).
- Three USB sockets are provided on the fascia for auxiliary items such as keyboard, mouse, wireless receiver for wireless keyboard & mouse, thumb drive, external hard drive, GPS etc.
- A built in trackpad is incorporated in the fascia and an on-screen keyboard may be called up if desired.
- Diver controls are standard with LED indicators to indicate status.
